Evacuation Begins
Later that day The Red Cross decided to start the evacuation with The Elders and the sick. I was classed as sick because of my athsma. I was on the first plane of the evacuation. When i got to the airport everythng was in firefighting mode.
There was a helicopter with a water bag for dropping water onto fires. Several water bombers had arrived from NWT. There were firefighters coming and going.

Hey there oldtimer,
Good to see you are given the respect you deserve, with your many years of wisdom. I look forward to seeing you at the end of the month. Lisa has been a good friend helping me with my meals. My recovery is slow but sure, soon I’ll be up and around with vigor and tenacity.
